FATS WALLER
Thomas Wright 'Fats' Waller was a black African American jazz musician, comedian, and entertainer from the 1920s to the 1930s. Waller's innovation in the Harlem stride style laid the groundwork for modern jazz piano. Some of his songs include : Ain't Misbehavin, Honeysuckle Rose, and Viper's Drag. He passed away in 1943 at the age of 39 from pneumonia.
