LEE FALK

Lee Falk was a writer, theater director and producer from the 1930s to the 1990s. He is certainly best remembered as the creator of the popular newspaper comic strips The Phantom and Mandrake the Magician, which at the height of their popularity, were seen by over 100 million readers each day. He passed away in 1999 at the age of 87.
