HERBERT BAYER

Herbert Bayer was an Austrian and American graphic designer, painter, photographer, sculptor, art director, environmental and interior designer, and architect from the 1920s to the 1980s. He was widely recognized as the last living member of the Bauhaus (the famous German art school) and was instrumental in the development of the Atlantic Richfield Company's corporate art collection. Bayer passed away in 1985 at the age of 85.
