PHILIP G. EPSTEIN
Philip G. Epstein was a screenwriter from the 1930s to the 1950s. He worked together with his brother Julius Epstein, and together they wrote screenplays for lots of wonderful movies, most notably large portions of Casablanca (winner of the Best Screenplay Academy Award for this film). Some of their other screenplays include: Foods for Scandal, Arsenic and Old Lace, and The Last Time I Saw Paris. Philip passed away in 1952 at the age of 42 from cancer.
