CLARK WILLIAMS
Clark Williams was signed to a contract by Universal in the early 1930s, and they apparently had high hopes for him, giving him the lead role in "Tailspin Tommy in The Great Air Mystery". But while he made three movies in 1935, he was uncredited in his single movie in 1936, and then he pretty much disappeared. We found a reference to him having become a stage director in the 1940s, and he lived all the way until 1989 (dying at the age of 82), but we don't know what happened to him in the intervening years. If anyone knows more about this, please
e-mail us and we will post it here.
