MARTIN SCORSESE
Martin Scorsese is a director from the 1970s to the present. He directed "I Call First" in 1967, a feature film starring Harvey Keitel, but it did not bring him fame. Few people know that he was a "supervising editor" on the 1970 movie "Woodstock"! He directed Boxcar Bertha in 1972, and then the next year Mean Streets with Harvey Keitel and Robert De Niro, which made him one of the most acclaimed directors. He is considered one of the greatest directors of the modern era and some of his movies include: Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The Wolf Of Wall Street (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), The Last Temptation Of Christ (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Gangs Of New York (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), The Aviator (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and Goodfellas. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 78!
