LOIS SMITH

Lois Smith is a stage and screen actress from the 1950s to the present. She studied with Lee Strasberg at the Actors Studio in the 1950s, and that led to her part in East of Eden. She has acted far more on the stage than in movies, although she had some memorable minor appearances in movies in the past 30 years including in: Resurrection, Fatal Attraction, Fried Green Tomatoes (as Mama Threadgoode), and Lady Bird. As of 2021, she is still alive at the age of 90!
