MARNI NIXON
Marni Nixon was a soprano singer from the 1940s to the 1990s. She sang for several actresses in several legendary musicals, including for: Deborah Kerr in The King and I, Natalie Wood in West Side Story, and Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady. Amazingly, Hollywood tried to keep it a secret that she was the singing voice for these ladies, which resulted in her not getting nearly as much publicity as she should have. She passed away in 2016 at the age of 86.
