LEE POWELL

Lee Powell was an actor from the 1930s until his untimely passing in 1944. Some of his movies include: The Lone Ranger (in the title role; the first film portrayal of the character!), Flash Gordon Conquers the Universe (as Captain Roka), and The Adventures of Mark Twain. Note that Powell had enlisted with the Marines in World War II (WWII), and died upon drinking a "homemade" brew concocted by his fellow Marines after a battle against Japanese Forces in the Northern Mariana Islands!
