FRED ROGERS

Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers) was the host of the long-running public television (TV) show "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" from 1968 to 2001. An ordained Presbyterian minister, Rogers also wrote children's books, advocated for various charities, and was the winner of the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Rogers passed away in 2003 at the age of 74 from stomach cancer.
