WILLIAM DESMOND (personality)
William Desmond was an actor from the 1910s to the 1940s. Initially a vaudeville and stage actor, Desmond performed dramatic roles in early films, before transitioning to westerns and later character roles with the advent of sound. Some of his movies include: A Gamble in Souls, Bare-Fisted Gallagher (in the title role), Battling with Buffalo Bill, and Bury Me Not on the Lone Prairie. He passed away in 1949 at the age of 71.
