FRANK TOKUNAGA
Frank Tokunaga was a Japanese-born actor and director from the 1910s to the 1960s. He is forgotten today, except by major film buffs, but he was one of the earliest Japanese actors in U.S. movies in the 1910s. He appeared in a number of U.S. movies until 1920, when he returned to Japan, and became a director and actor there. He returned to the U.S. at some point after World War II, making a few cameo appearances in U.S. movies. He passed away in California in 1967 at the age of 78.
