BOB DYLAN
Bob Dylan is a folk rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) singer-songwriter, artist, writer, and actor from the 1950s to the present. He is one of the most famous and respected folk rock musicians, and although he is primarily a "rock star", he found time appear in a few movies, including: Don't Look Back, Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, Renaldo and Clara, Hearts of Fire, and Masked and Anonymous. He has sold more than 125 million records (making him one of the best-selling musicians of all time), has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, ten Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe Award and an Academy Award. Dylan has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2016, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition", and this is the first time this prize has ever been given to a song-writer. As of 2023, he is still alive at the age of 81!
