Walter Hudd was an English actor from the 1930s to the 1960s. His first movie was "Moscow Nights" in 1935. The following year, he was cast as T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) in Alexander Korda's proposed biography, but the film was unfortunately abandoned (he had played Lawrence on stage in Bernard Shaw's play "Too Good to Be True", and Lawrence himself had praised Hudd and recommended him for the movie version). Some of his movies include: The Outsider, Major Barbara, The Good Die Young, and Reach for the Sky. He ironically passed away in 1963 at the age of 65, two months after Lawrence of Arabia (starring Peter O'Toole) opened.
