DAN RATHER
Dan Rather is a journalist and news anchor from the 1960s to the present. Considered one of the "big three" news anchors (along with Peter Jennings and Tom Brokaw), Rather was asked to join CBS after reporting the first ever display of meteorological radar on television while covering Hurricane Carla. He was the CBS Evening News anchor from 1981 to 2005. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 89!
