BARNEY ROSS

Barney Ross was a professional boxer and decorated World War II (WWII) veteran. Ross had a 72-4-3 boxing record, including 22 wins by knockout! Ross's morphine addiction and recovery were the subject of the 1957 movie "Monkey on My Back" (which was based on Barney Ross' autobiography, "No Man Stands Alone"). He passed away in 1967 at the age of 58.
