MIRIAM JORDAN
Miriam Jordan was an English actress who had only a short career in motion pictures. She won a beauty contest while working as a typist in London and this facilitated her introduction to the stage. Seeking fame and fortune in America, she was 'decoratively cast' in 'Three Cheers' with Will Rogers in 1928, her one scene consisting of walking down stairs, while modelling a fabulous gown. Her brief career continued into the 1940s. Some of her movies include: Sherlock Holmes, I Loved You Wednesday, Let's Fall in Love, and Two Heads on a Pillow. She passed away in 1987 at the age of 83.
