JULES CHERET

Jules Cheret was a French painter/lithographer from the 1850s to the 1930s. He has been called the "father of the modern poster". Some of his works include: Yvette Guilbert, Moulin Rouge, Folies Bergeres, and Palais des Glaces. He passed away in 1932 at the age of 96.
