CAMILLA HORN
Camilla Horn was an German actress and dancer from the 1920s to the 1990s. She was born in 1903, and in 1926, F.W. Murnau cast her in Faust, which made her a major star. She then went to Hollywood, where she was signed by United Artists, making Tempest and Eternal Love. But with the coming of sound, she returned to Europe and performed more on the stage than in the movies. She was an outspoken critic of Hitler and the Nazis in World War II, which got her in trouble. After the war, she performed mostly on the stage in Europe. She starred in several Hollywood films of the late 1920s and in a few British and Italian productions. She passed away in 1996 at the age of 93.
