JOSEPH JEFFERSON

Joseph Jefferson was an actor from the 1830s to the 1900s. Some of his stage play roles included: Our American Cousin, Nicholas Nickleby, The Heir at Law, The Octoroon, and Rip Van Winkle (where he played both Young and Old Rip Van Winkle during his long stage career!). He passed away in 1905 at the age of 76.
