AL MARTINO
Al Martino was an American singer and actor from the 1940s to the 2000s. He had his greatest success as a singer between the early 1950s and mid-1970s, being described as "one of the great Italian American pop crooners". He memorably played Johnny Fontane in The Godfather, the Frank Sinatra-like singer (after several other Italian-American singers turned down the role). He passed away in 2009 at the age of 82.
