WARREN HYMER
Warren Hymer was an actor from the 1920s to the 1940s. Some of his movies include: Speakeasy, The Girl from Havana, King for a Night, 20,000 Years in Sing Sing, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, and Gentleman Joe Palooka. Hymer apparently had a drinking problem, which led to Columbia head Harry Cohn sending Hymer home after showing up to work drunk. In retaliation, Hymer broke into Cohn's office, urinating on his desk! Subsequently he was blackballed in the film industry, passing away in 1948 a stomach ailment (possibly related to his drinking). He was 42 years ago.
