CHILI WILLIAMS
Chili Williams (born Marian Sorenson) was an actress and model from the 1940s to the 1950s. She was known as "The Polka-Dot Girl" after a Life magazine pin-up photo of her in a polka dot bikini was published in 1943, which generated over 100,000 fan letters, and made her a favorite World War II pin-up girl. She got a movie contract and had some minor roles, and also had romances with Rory Calhoun and Jack Carson. She was in a scandal when she posed for Earl Moran, and Mrs. Moran walked in on Earl and a nude Chili! Later, she was arrested for breaking into an ex-boyfriend's apartment. After a failed marriage, she married again in 1954 and retired from acting, opening a dress shop in Las Vegas and having a son and daughter. She remained married until she passed away in 2003 at the age of 81.
