JAMES MURRAY
James Murray was an actor from the 1920s to the 1930s. He won praise from critics for King Vidor's The Crowd, which was his first major role. Unfortunately, the pressures of Hollywood got to him and he eventually became an alcoholic who could not hold down a job. He became homeless, and when he coincidentally ran into King Vidor while begging for change, he refused Vidor's offer of an acting job. His body was discovered in the Hudson river in 1936. He was 35. Some of his movies include: The Big City, The Shakedown, and Heroes for Sale
