AL WILLIAMSON

Al Williamson (born "Alfonso Williamson") was a cartoonist, comic book artist, and illustrator from the 1950s to the 1990s. He specialized in adventure, Western, and science fiction/fantasy art. His most notable works include his sci-fi/heroic fantasy art for Star Wars, the EC Comics (E.C. Comics) titles "Weird Science" and "Weird Fantasy". He passed away in 2010 at the age of 79.
