JANETTE SCOTT

Janette Scott is an English actress from the 1940s to the 1990s. She is best remembered for her starring role in "Day of the Triffids" in 1963, which was immortalized in the lyrics of the song from "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" that says "And I really got hot When I saw Janette Scott fight a triffid that spits poison and kills." She divorced her first husband and married Mel Torme in 1966, and ended her career to have a family. They divorced in 1977, and she's been married to her third husband since 1981. As of 2021, Scott is still alive at the age of 82!
