JAMES SHIGETA
James Shigeta was an Asian-American actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. He was a handsome leading man who, like Sidney Poitier, broke down the barriers preventing actors of Asian descent from appearing as romantic leads in American movies. Some of his movies include: Flower Drum Song, Die Hard, Brother, The Yakuza, and Drive. He passed away in 2014 at the age of 85.
