SUGAR RAY ROBINSON
Sugar Ray Robinson is a legendary boxer who also appeared in a few movies and TV shows from the 1950s to the 1970s, usually in a cameo appearance as himself. He was the World welterweight boxing champion from 1946 to 1951. He was the world middleweight boxing champion in 1951, then he lost it, regained it, and held it until 1952, and then lost it until 1955, when he regained it, and lost and regained it in 1957, and then lost it and held it again from 1958 until 1960. Some of the champions he knocked out included Rocky Graziano, Carl "BoBo" Olsen, Gene Fullmer, Randy Turpin, and Jake LaMotta. Many people consider him the best professional boxer of all time! He passed away in 1989 at the age of 67.
