RICHARD WILBUR

Richard Wilbur was a poet and literary translator from the 1950s to the 2000s. In 1987, he was appointed the second Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry to the Library of Congress. He also received the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1957 and again in 1989. Wilbur passed away in 2017 at the age of 96.
