ZORRO (character)

Zorro is a fictional character created by Johnston McCulley in 1919. Zorro is the secret identity of California nobleman, Don Diego de la Vega during the era of Spanish rule. He is typically depicted as a black-clad masked man who defends the people against tyrannical officials and villains. The Zorro character has been featured in books, comics, cartoons, TV series and a large number of films. Some of the actors that have portrayed him include: Douglas Fairbanks, Guy Williams, Tyrone Power Jr., Antonio Banderas and more.
