TIMOTHY LEARY
Timothy Leary was a psychologist and writer from the 1940s to the 1990s. He is best remembered for his advocacy of psychedelic drugs. Leary believed LSD and similar drugs had therapeutic potential and he popularized the catchphrase "turn on, tune in, drop out". He was arrested on drug charges many times in the 1960s and 1970s and President Nixon referred to him as "the most dangerous man in America". He appeared in a few movies, including: Shocker, Rude Awakening, and French Exit. He passed away in 2006 at the age of 75.
