KATHARINE CORNELL

Katharine Cornell was a German stage actress, writer, and producer from the 1920s to the 1950s. She appeared in only one film, Stage Door Canteen, but was best known for her many Broadway appearances including: The Barretts of Wimpole Street, Romeo and Juliet, Time for Comedy, Antony and Cleopatra, and The Constant Wife. She passed away in 1974 at the age of 81.
