ISA MIRANDA
Isa Miranda was an Italian stage actress who became famous in 1934 in Max Ophuls' film "La Signora di tutti". That brought her to the attention of Hollywood, and she signed a contract with Paramount and made a few movies there, but when World War II started, she returned to Italy and acted on the stage and in movies there. After the war, she appeared in many excellent movies. In the 1950s, her career started to wind down, and she started to do much TV and stage appearances. She passed away in 1982 at the age of 73.
