JOHNNY DOWNS

Johnny Downs was an actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. He had appeared in the Our Gang comedies in 1925 and 1926 (not surprisingly, he played "Johnny"!). He was one of the few child actors who successfully transitioned to adult roles. In the mid 1950s, he hosted a kids show on TV, and later, he became a successful real estate investor. He passed away in 1994 at the age of 80.
