FLORENCE ELDRIDGE
Florence Eldridge was a stage and screen actress from the 1920s to the 1960s. She married actor Fredric March in 1927, and they had two children together and remained married until he passed away in 1975. She had been a leading Broadway star who had appeared in a few films prior to their marriage, and after they married, she greatly reduced her career, but still continued with stage and screen roles, often appearing together with her husband. Some of her movies include: Les Miserables (as Fantine), Christopher Columbus (as Queen Isabella), and Inherit the Wind (playing the wife of her real life husband!). She passed away in 1988 at the age of 86.
