HAZEL SCOTT
Hazel Scott was a Trinidadian pianist, singer and actress from the 1930s to the 1970s. She was the first black African American woman to have her own television (TV) series when she hosted "The Hazel Scott Show", and some of her movies include: Something to Shout About, Rhapsody in Blue, and The Heat's On. She passed away in 1981 at the age of 61.
