RAY CHARLES

Ray Charles was a legendary soul, rhythm & blues and jazz singer from the 1940s to the 2000s. He lost his sight at the age of five due to glaucoma, but went on to learn piano and braille and playing live shows in Florida! Some of his works include: Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music, Ingredients in a Recipe for Soul, and Genius + Soul = Jazz. He passed away in 2004 at the age of 73.
