DAN HEDAYA
Dan Hedaya was born in Brooklyn in 1940. He got his first role in a bit part in 1970's Myra Breckinridge after which is received many other small TV and film roles, but his real breakthrough was in 1984 with two crime films: Clint Eastwood's Tightrope and The Coen Brothers' Blood Simple. Soon after he landed a returning role as Nick Tortelli on TV's "Cheers". He's appeared in over 100 films (usually as a villain) including The Usual Suspects, Mulholland Drive, Alien: Resurrection, and The Hurricane. As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 80!
