FRANK LLOYD
Frank Lloyd was a Scottish born actor and director from the 1910s to the 1950s. Some of his movies include: An Arrangement of Fate, Nature's Triumph, and The Stronger Love. But, he is most famous for directing many highly acclaimed movies including: Drag (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Les Miserables, Oliver Twist, Cavalcade, Berkeley Square, Mutiny on the Bounty (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Weary River (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), and The Divine Lady (for which he won the Best Director Academy Award; this was the only time anyone has received a Best Director award for a movie that was not nominated for Best Picture). He passed away in 1960 at the age of 74.
