KATHLEEN NORRIS
Kathleen Norris was an novelist from the 1910s to the 1940s. She was the highest-paid female writer of her time and many of her novels are held in high regard today. At least two of her novels were made into films: My Best Girl in 1927 and Manhattan Love Song in 1934 (released under the title Change of Heart). She passed away in 1966 at the age of 85.
