RICHARD RODGERS
Richard Rodgers was a prolific and highly influential music composer from the 1920s to the 1970s. For much of his career he partnered with lyricists Lorenz Hart and Oscar Hammerstein II. Some of his works include: South Pacific, Carousel, The King and I, and The Sound of Music, among many, many others! Rodgers passed away in 1979 at the age of 77.
