PEGGY HOPKINS JOYCE

Peggy Hopkins Joyce was a celebrity, dancer, model, and later actress from the 1910s to the 1930s. She had so much fame from her off-screen escapades that she made a handful of films; her gold-digging persona was supposedly the model for the Lorilei Lee character in Anita Loo's "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes". Joce passed away in 1957 at the age of 64.
