JEANIE MACPHERSON

Jeanie MacPherson was a legendary actress, director and writer from the 1900s to the 1950s (but she is certainly best remembered as a screenwriter, and she had a long association with legendary producer/director Cecil B. DeMille). She was one of the foremost early women in Hollywood and was one of the founders of the Motion Picture Academy. Some of her movies include: The Buccaneer, The Ten Commandments, and The King of Kings. She passed away in 1946 at the age of 60.
