ELROY HIRSCH

Elroy 'Crazy Legs' Hirsch was a professional football player and actor from the 1940s to the 1960s. He was a running back and receiver for the Los Angeles Rams and Chicago Rockets. He received his nickname for his unusual running style which one reporter described as "His crazy legs were gyrating in six different directions, all at the same time; he looked like a demented duck." Some of his movies include: Crazylegs, Unchained, and Zero Hour! He passed away in 2004 at the age of 80.
