RICHARD TALMADGE (personality)
Richard 'Dick' Talmadge (born Sylvester Alphonse Metz) was an acrobat, stuntman, stunt coordinator, actor and director from the 1910s to the 1960s. He was an acrobat with the Barnum and Bailey Circus, and later became a Hollywood stuntman/stunt coordinator (he often worked with Douglas Fairbanks Sr.). He soon graduated to starring in movies, usually performing lots of stunts, and also began directing in the 1940s. He had two acrobat brothers, Otto Metzetti and Victor Metz, who appeared in many of his films. Talmadge passed away in 1981 at the age of 88.
