GARSON KANIN
Garson Kanin was a writer and director from the 1930s to the 2000s. He had a very long marriage to actress/writer Ruth Gordon (who he sometimes wrote with), and he wrote many movies for MGM, including ones with Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn. Some of his works include: Adam's Rib, Born Yesterday, and The Rat Race. He passed away in 1999 at the age of 86.
