GEORGES CARPENTIER

Georges Carpentier was a French boxer who appeared in a few movies in the 1920s and 1930s. He was the world lightweight boxing champion from 1920 to 1922. He is best remembered for his fight heavyweight boxing champion Jack Dempsey, which was filmed and released in theaters as "The Fight of the Ages". He passed away in 1975 at the age of 81.
