VINCENT SHERMAN (personality)
Vincent Sherman was an actor and director from the 1930s to the 1950s. His most memorable role was as the anarchist in "Counselor at Law". He later became known as the leading "woman's director", because he directed so many of the top female stars in their best movies, which he disputed, because he also directed many top male stars, and he had romances with most of the top female stars of that time, which he couldn't dispute! His career was hurt badly by the Hollywood blacklist, but he became a top TV director starting in the late 1950s. He passed away in 2006 at the age of 99.
