PETER RONSON

Peter Ronson was an an Icelandic actor in the 1950s. His only movie role was Journey to the Center of the Earth. He was a track star who went to USC to compete there, and since 20th Century-Fox was looking for a very athletic Icelandic actor for this movie, he naturally got the role, and after he was offered a movie contract, but he turned it down so this was his only movie. He competed for Iceland in the 1960 110 meter hurdles in the Olympics! Ronson passed away in 2007 at the age of 72.
