SIG RUMAN
Sig Ruman was a German character actor from the 1920s to the 1960s. Some of his movies include: The Wedding Night, Never Say Die, and White Christmas. He will always be best remembered as the foil of many of Groucho Marx's jokes in several of the Marx Bros. movies, he slowly Americanized his name in the late 1930s, no doubt due to anti-German sentiment, but he had great success in the early 1940s playing stock German characters. Ruman passed away in 1967 at the age of 82.
